CNA classes in Idaho are currently accepting new students interested in becoming part of the state’s rapidly-expanding healthcare industry. Certified Nursing Assistant programs are offered through local community colleges, non-profit organizations and vocational schools and, those recognized by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare feature an approved curriculum that allows their graduates to challenge for certification at the completion of their training.

The CNA certification process in Idaho consists of three steps. Completion of each step is required in order to become eligible to work at most caregiving facilities in the state.

  1. Enroll in and complete a training course approved by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
  2. Pass the Idaho Nurse Aide Exam given by Prometric
  3. Get listed in the Idaho CNA Registry in order to verify your certification status for employers
