The Cause

The demand for healthcare professionals is trending upwards. The increased need for healthcare in this country is a result of an aging population. The “Baby-Boom” generation (born between 1946 and 1964) just began to reach retirement age starting around 2011. As a result of this, new employment opportunities are being created.

Between the years 2012 and 2022 the United States is going to see over 300,000 new certified nursing assistant positions created. To learn more about the employment trends of a CNA please visit the statics at the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

By creating this scholarship we aim to fill a need that is in high demand as well as educate America’s growing work force. We realize that providing educational scholarships can be one of the most important things we can do as an organization. That is why we are proud to announce CNA Certification & Training’s CNA Scholarship Program.
