CNA Training is on the rise as of late. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is expecting an increase of 21% in Certified Nursing Assistant jobs from 2012 to 2022. That’s an estimated 312,200 jobs nationwide! Now is the time to get your CNA Training.

Curious about becoming a Certified Nursing assistant?

you’ve come to the right place. CNA Training can be achieved by the completing a certified program.
The process to become entirely certified consists of:

  •  Completing an accredited program.
  •  Passing the national exam (otherwise known as the NNAAP).
  • Becoming listed on a state registry.

Once you’ve gone through that process you’ll finally be ready to serve as a CNA. We hope that we can make the process for CNA Training as easy as possible

The overall goals of each program may differ slightly but more or less have the same objectives in mind. Here are some examples of those objectives:

  • Expose the new student to the health care field and the responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • Give the student the necessary training mandated by Federal and State law to become a CAN
  • Develop basic competencies by means of exposure of material within classroom settings and clinical settings.

After completing a CNA Training course graduates will have learned the roles and responsibilities of a nursing assistant. These roles and responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

  • Being able to describe the ethical behavior of a CNA.
  • Identify the scope of practice for a CNA.
  • Explain the significance of a nursing assistant within the health care world.
  • List the responsibilities the assistant has to the employer, the patient, and themselves.
  • Know the differences between a long-term care facility, hospital, hospice, Home Health Agency, and assisted living situations.
  • Be aware of what constitutes for elder abuse and know how to report it properly.
  • Promote a patient’s quality of life in appropriate ways.
